Driving Lesson Prices and Packages
Skills Beyond offers prepaid driving lesson packages, with the hourly rate reducing when you book a larger bundle. You can start with a smaller package and add more lessons later, depending on your experience, confidence and progress. Every lesson is one-on-one and taught in a manual dual-control car.

Our Packages at a Glance
Skills Beyond offers pre-paid lesson packages. The more hours you book, the lower the hourly rate. A package is simply a set number of pre-paid lesson hours booked at a discounted per-hour rate, and every package includes one-on-one lessons with Avin in a dual-control manual car.
Prices shown are per-hour package rates and indicative totals are calculated from them. Confirm availability and final pricing by getting in touch before you purchase. The Licence Test Package is priced separately and is not included above.
You do not need to commit to the largest bundle from the beginning. Many learners start with a 6 or 10-lesson package, then book more lessons later if they need them. The hourly rate for each new package is based on the size of that package.

What Is Included in Every Lesson
We work through each skill at a pace that feels manageable and only move on once you are comfortable with what you have learned.
- One-on-one coaching with Avin in a dual-control car
- Manual and automatic charged at the same rate
- Mobile lessons that start and finish at your home, school or workplace
- Lessons built around your current ability, not a fixed plan
- For learners under 25 with a supervising sponsor, structured lessons with a qualified instructor also count toward the logbook faster than driving with a parent alone
- Ten hours of lessons can convert into 30 logbook hours under the current NSW structured-lesson credit
- This credit can also work alongside the Safer Drivers Course as another way to add logbook hours if you are eligible
Test day
The Licence Test Package
The Licence Test Package is designed to make test day feel more familiar and less stressful. Using the same car you have practised in means you do not need to adjust to an unfamiliar vehicle on the day. The warm-up lesson also gives you time to settle your nerves and go over any final areas before the test begins.

Yes, packages expire within 3 months from the date of the first lesson. Package expiry periods and other booking conditions should be confirmed before purchasing, particularly if you are booking a larger package.
